As summer rolls into fall, the Chicago Blackhawks season is right around the corner and we’ve had the privilege of announcing the 2014-2015 season alongside our friends at WGN with a new commercial spot. The ad is currently airing on WGNTV and promotes the weekend broadcasts of the Blackhawks on the network.
Producer/Director combo Andrew Lennie and Ryan Johnson worked alongside Digital Hydra and local cinematographer Chris Vinopal to capture the fandom that has swept Chicago for the better part of the last decade. The season begins this week and as always we are proud to have worked side-by-side with WGN’s excellent creative team to celebrate a team that means so much to to the city we know and love.
The spot also comes on the heels of our spring Chicago Cubs promotions receiving an Emmy nomination for 2014. With great success at the Emmy’s last year, we hope that our collaborations with WGN continue to yield exceptional results.
